Workplace Discrimination

Definition

California's FEHA prohibits employers from discriminating against employees with physical or mental disabilities - including denying reasonable accommodations, refusing to engage in the interactive process, or terminating an employee because of a disability. California's disability protections are significantly broader than the federal Americans with Disabilities Act, covering a wider range of physical and mental conditions.
