Religious Discrimination
Workplace Discrimination

Definition

California employers must accommodate employees' sincerely held religious beliefs and practices unless doing so would create an undue hardship. This includes providing schedule modifications for religious observance, exemptions from dress code requirements, and space for prayer. Treating an employee adversely because of their religion - or failing to offer any accommodation - may constitute a FEHA violation.
